University of Rochester senior Alyssa Hoogs record two top-five finishes and a pair of Atlantic Regional qualifying marks in both horizontal jumps as the Yellowjackets opened the season at the Nazareth Alumni Invitational on Friday evening. Hoogs finished fourth of 41 in the long jump as she posted a distance of 5.41 meters to rank 16th in Division III thus far this season. The senior also finished second of 25 in the triple jump, earning a distance of 10.98 meters, a mark which currently ranks 27th in Division III.
