RPI senior Morgan Lee finished in seventh place to set a new school record and earning All-America at the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship. She helped the Engineers to a 23rd place finish in the 32-school, 6k race. On a snowy course with a wind chill of eight degrees in Michigan, she ran the first mile in 5:54.4, which was in the top 10 from the start. Morgan hit two miles at 11:52.8 to continue near the front group, though outside the top 10, and then had a 3.8-mile split of 14:06.0 to keep within range for a top 10 finish. She reached 5k in 18:18.7 and finished with a 22:09.4 to place seventh overall. Her final pace was 5:57, which was equal to the sixth-place finisher, who ran a 22:09.2. RPI's previous top finish was a 15th place in 2015.
