Hobart College first-year diver Daniel Barrientos made his collegiate debut a memorable one, winning two events and posting an NCAA qualifying score on the 3-mater board at Ithaca. Barrientos placed first on the 1-meter board with a score of 250.95, 15 points ahead of the second-place finisher. He continued his strong showing in his second event of the day, taking first place on the 3-meter board with a score of 287.20. Barrientos' 3-meter score score surpassed the NCAA qualifying standard of 285 for six dives.
