RPI first-year Andy Zhu went a combined 7-1 at the ITA Northeast Regional, including a title in doubles. Partnered with sophomore Aiden Drover-Mattinen to make up the No. 1 seed in doubles, they beat a team from Lebanon Valley 8-6 in the first round and then swept a duo from Rochester 8-0 in the second. The quarterfinals was an 8-4 win over a team from Hamilton followed by an 8-7 (7-5) semifinals victory against foes from Hobart. Andy and Aiden defeated another pair from the Statesmen 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 in the final. In singles, Zhu won his first round match 7-5, 6-1 (NYU) and advanced to the quarters with a Round of 32 love, love win over a foe from Union. He dropped his next match in three sets, 2-6, 7-5, 11-9, to an eventual finalist from New Jersey City.
