Vassar College junior Sofie Shen posted a 3-0 singles record and 5-0 doubles record over the two-day Vassar Scramble. Shen opened with an 8-0 win against New Paltz's Amirah Alston, followed by a hard-fought 8-6 win against NYU's Karina Jensrud. She then bested Hamilton's Kate Solowey by an 8-0 margin. No flight rankings were used for the event, which saw singles occur on day one only.
