Vassar College first-year player Iris Li had a strong start to her collegiate career, going 3-0 in singles action and 5-0 in doubles at the non-team scoring 2022 Vassar Scramble. Saturday's action saw her post an 8-7 (2) win over New Paltz's Justine Stanejko, followed by an 8-5 victory over NYU's Glenda Boeker. Li closed out singles action with an 8-4 win against Hamilton's Shannon Cicero. In doubles action, Li combined with Sofie Shen for a 5-0 mark, including an 8-6 victory over NYU's Karina Jensrud and Glenda Boeker and an 8-7 win over Hamilton's Claire Cutler and Hannah Walpole. The pair went 3-0 on Sunday with wins of 6-2, 6-4 and 6-0 against duos from New Paltz, NYU and Hamilton, respectively.
