For the second straight week, University of Rochester junior running back Daniel Papantonis had a huge game on the ground as the Yellowjackets defeated host Alfred State 30-17 on Saturday night. He had career-high 30 carries for 278 yards and three touchdowns, ranking second (to his own total from last week) in school history for most rushing yards in a single game. Papantonis added a 9.3 yards per carry average and had a long rush of 44 yards. In the victory, he recorded touchdowns 1, 2 and 26 yards, with the last being the clincher to put Rochester up two scores with two minutes left in the game. After two weeks, Papantonis leads Division III in rushing with 587 net yards on the ground.
