St. Lawrence University first-year player Molly Jespersen enjoyed a strong first weekend in Scarlet and Brown as she took home the B-Flight singles title at the Mary Hosking (William Smith) Invitational. Jespersen won her first match, 8-0, her quarterfinal match, 8-4, and then defeated Ithaca's Lauren Rodriguez, 8-0, in the semifinals. In the finals, Jespersen defeated Gabby Gatto, 8-5, to win the flight.
