Ithaca College first-year player Sabrina Cheung captured the D-Flight singles title at the Mary Hosking (William Smith) Invitational. Cheung opened the tournament by defeating Mariana Kelly from the University of Rochester, 8-4. In her second match, she earned an 8-0 win over an opponent from Nazareth. Cheung cruised through the semifinals defeating Elena Styliades of St. Lawrence, 8-4. In what was an all-Ithaca final, she defeated teammate Caroline Herz, 8-6.
