Skidmore College junior left-hander Max Martins was the winning pitcher in the Liberty League championship game. Pitching on short rest, Martins allowed just one run on three hits with two strikeouts and two walks over seven innings. Martins also recorded a no-decision while pitching 5.1 innings against RPI in Skidmore's tournament opener on Thursday. He also made a relief appearance on Saturday, pitching 1/3 of an inning. For the tournament, Martins totaled 12.2 IP, 7 runs (5 earned), 4 walks, 4 strikeouts, 11 hits.
