Skidmore College junior center fielder Leejay Pollacchi was named the most valuable player of the Liberty League Tournament. Pollacchi went 7-19 (.368) with 3 runs, 2 RBI, 6 SB, 2 sacrifice bunts, 3 walks, and had several key defensive plays in center field. Six of his seven hits were infield hits. Pollacchi's diving catch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning in Game 6 secured a 7-5 win for the Thoroughbreds and forced a deciding game.
