In two Liberty League tournament matches, RPI senior Peter Lohrbach had a pair of individual victories that helped propel the Engineers to the championship. Lohrbach clinched a 5-0 match win over Vassar in the semifinals with a 6-1, 6-2 win at sixth singles. The next day, he bounced back from a first set loss to capture an 0-6, 6-2, 6-4 win that put the Engineers ahead 4-2 in the final against Skidmore. RPI went on to defeat the Thoroughbreds 5-3.
