The RPI first-doubles pairing of senior Peter Lohrbach and first-year Aiden Drover-Mattinen had a pair of victories at No. 1 doubles that helped the Engineers to the title. They won 8-7 (8-6) to put the Engineers ahead 3-0 in what would be a 5-0 win over Vassar in the semifinals. The next day, the duo got RPI on the board with an 8-3 triumph - Rensselaer's lone doubles point - in a 5-3 win over Skidmore in the championship match.
