Hobart's Varsity Eight of Sawyer MacDonald, Zachary Berzon, Anthony Carella, Mo Marchart, Cameron Kumagai, Conrad Palmer, Alex Sickmuller, Sean Madden and Aidan Spencer finished fifth in a field 17 boats at the National Invitational Rowing Championships. In the morning heats, the Statesmen were second, securing a spot in the Grand Final. In the Grand Final, Hobart finished in fifth, posting a time of 6:01.581.
