University of Rochester first-year athlete Cora Rose had a pair of third-place finishes at the Liberty League Championship over the weekend, helping Rochester earn its first-ever Liberty League Track and Field title. Rose finished third in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 10.69 meters and also ended third in the discus throw with a distance of 37.14 meters, an All-Atlantic Region qualifier. Rose’s third event was the hammer throw where she earned a 14th-place finish with a personal-best throw of 36.15 meters.
