William Smith College senior midfielder Payton McMahon guided the team's defensive unit to a pair of wins and a sixth-straight Liberty League title this weekend. She led the team with four caused turnovers and seven ground balls. McMahon had five points on three goals and two assists. Against Union, she scooped up five ground balls, caused three turnovers and recorded a draw control. She also contributed offensively by scoring twice and dishing out an assist. In the Championship game, McMahon had two ground balls and a caused turnover. McMahon leads the team with 40 ground balls and 30 caused turnovers. She has 50 draw controls on the year.
