First-year infielder Ally Kim helped lead Rochester to a 5-1 week on the diamond, pacing the Yellowjackets with seven hits, seven runs and 11 stolen bases. Kim combined to hit .368 (7-19) with one home run and four RBI. She walked once and was HBP once for a .429 OBP and was not caught in any of her 11 stolen base attempts during the week. Kim’s best game of the week came against Ithaca on Sunday when she went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, a home run and a school-record tying four stolen bases. On Tuesday against Fredonia, Kim went 3-for-3 with a run, RBI and three steals and has extended her single-season school record to 39 steals on the season.
