Union College had an excellent day on Fish Creek at the New York State Championships on Saturday. The Novice 4+ team of first-years Jordan Whittier (coxswain), Sara Beckwith (stroke), Lena Nowell (3 seat), Julia Cole (2 seat), and Claire Schroder (bow) finished first with a time of 8:40.003, a full 26.894 ahead of Stony Brook University.
