At the four-team Farley Invitational hosted by Williams, RPI first-year athlete Max Liu had two victories and a third-place finish in the three events in which he participated. Liu won the 14-competitor 200-meter dash with a time of 22.71, which was just ahead of the runner-up's 22.97. He also helped the 4x100 relay team to a win, defeating two other squads with a time of 43.95. Liu ran fourth for the Engineers, who edged second-place Vassar (45.28). And in the 100, which had 13 competitors, Max was third with a time of 11.28 seconds. The meet also included Castleton and was non team scoring.
