RPI first-year Aiden Drover-Mattinen played in two of the team's three matches last week and posted a 4-0 record, going 2-0 in singles and 2-0 at doubles, each while playing at No. 1. He led the Engineers to an 8-1 win at Union by winning 8-2 in doubles with playing partner Peter Lohrbach and capturing his singles match, 6-1, 6-2. Against No. 14 Brandeis on the road on Saturday, Aiden and Peter had an 8-4 win in doubles before Aiden won 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles. The Engineers upended the Judges 5-4.
