Sophomore goalie Anthony DeLeo played a major role in RIT winning the 2012 Liberty League Championship. DeLeo earned Tournament Most Valuable Player honors posting a pair of wins. On Friday, DeLeo allowed four goals and made 16 saves in a 12-4 win over Clarkson in the semifinals. He followed that up with 12 saves and allowing just six goals in an 8-6 win over No. 11 Union in the title game. For the week, DeLeo posted a 5.00 goals against average and a .736 save percentage. In his last seven games, DeLeo has a 7-0 record with a 5.51 goals against average and a .673 save percentage.
