University of Rochester first-year Colby Cruser tossed a gem of a game on Saturday against Liberty League foe St. Lawrence, allowing just one hit and one run in six-plus innings of work. The first-year lefty took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, but came away with a no-decision after yielding his lone hit to the first batter of the final frame. The runner scored, but Rochester ended up walking off the Saints 3-2 in the bottom of the 7th for the win. Cruser walked one and struck out eight in the game, lowering his season ERA to 1.88. With his bat, Cruser went 1-for-4 on Sunday against the Saints, driving in three RBI and scoring two runs.
