University of Rochester first-year outfielder Bailey Nicholoff had a strong performance in Rochester’s doubleheader sweep over Skidmore to open league play on Sunday. The first-year outfielder hit .625 (5-for-8) with four runs, one double, three home runs and 10 RBI. She slugged 1.875 on the day and added one walk for a .667 on-base percentage. In game one she was 2-for-5 with two runs and four RBI, including a 3-run home run in the 7th inning as Rochester rallied from trailing 4-1 to win 13-5. In game two, she launched two home runs in the first inning as the Yellowjackets cruised to a 15-1 win, finishing the contest going 3-for-3 with six runs batted in and two runs.
