Competing at the nationally recognized Knecht Cup, the men's varsity eight  consisting of Zoe Foster, Gregg Seiz, Colin McCarthy, Wesley Hoglin, Dehron Smith, James Ross, Henry Grant, Seth Freeman and Steven Van Hoof, had the opportunity to race in a semifinal on Saturday in a heat which included Michigan, MIT, Bucknell, Army and Maryland. The boat placed fourth in the semifinal with a final time of 6:18.79, a slight improvement from the morning race where they went 6:18.81. IC finished behind Bucknell by approximately two seconds.
