University of Rochester first-year athlete Cole Goodman had two top-two results and set a school record in competing at the University of Rochester Spring Classic on Friday afternoon. Goodman earned the win in the triple jump with a mark of 14.21 meters, currently the tenth-best distance in NCAA Division III, and earned a regional qualifying performance. Goodman also ranks 14th nationally in the long jump after his runner-up performance in of 7.15 meters. In that event, he broke the longest standing school record, eclipsing the mark last set in 1969 by Atlas Evans by 1.5 inches.
