University of Rochester junior Alyssa Hoogs ranks among the top-50 nationally in both the long and triple jump following two top-3 performances on Friday at the University of Rochester Spring Classic. Hoogs finished runner-up in the triple jump with a mark of 11.09 meters, qualifying for the All-Atlantic Regional meet and currently sitting 44th on the national performance list. She also posted a third place result in the long jump, clearing 5.47 meters to rank 32nd in Division III, also qualifying for regionals. Hoogs’ marks are also first currently in the triple jump and second in the long jump in the Liberty League this season.
