Hobart's Varsity Eight comprised of Sawyer MacDonald, Mo Marchart, Anthony Carella, Zachary Berzon, Alex Sickmuller, Sean Maden, Cameron Kumagai, Ryan Mulflur and Aidan Spencer powered the Statesmen to a victory over Ithaca. They crossed the finish line with a time of 6:18.8, 18 seconds ahead of the Bombers. The victory ensured the Statesmen Cup would stay in Geneva for another year.
