Union College first-year pitcher Jessie Rooney helped the Dutchwomen extend their winning streak to six games; tossing two complete games and securing her first collegiate save this week. She posted a 1.26 earned run average through the three appearances (16.2 innings)while holding opponents to a .145 batting average. Rooney went 2-0 in her two starts while striking out six. In her lone save opportunity this season, she struck out five batters in 2.2 innings to secure a win over Washington and Jefferson.
