St. Lawrence University junior Caitlyn Avery recorded comeback wins against RPI and Vassar to secure a 2-0 singles week for the Saints. Against RPI in the number-two spot, Avery lost her opening set 6-3 against Lorna Flores Gonzalez, but bounced back by winning set two 6-0. The junior proceeded to take the third set super-breaker 10-8. On Sunday, Avery once again dropped a 6-3 opening set against Macey Dowd. The junior posted 6-4, 10-4 wins to complete her second comeback of the weekend.
