Ithaca College first-year player Taylor Crain picked up the lone win of the afternoon for the Bombers in the first singles slot, taking down Skidmore's Katherine Almquist. Crain took the first set 6-4 but was swept in the second set tiebreaker 7-6 (7-0). She battled back in the super-tiebreaker, saving multiple match points to win it 12-10. Crain's individual victory marks the first time since 2011 that Ithaca has won a singles match against Skidmore.
