Vassar College first-year Elyse Duley went 4-1 at No. 6 singles during action in California. After losing the opening set against Cal Lutheran's Lauren Sebastian, she won four straight games to win the second set. Duley then fought off two match points to win a third-set tiebreaker, sealing the 5-4 match victory for the Brewers with a 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) match score. Duley also posted a 6-2, 4-6, 10-6 win over Occidental's Katie Wolber in a 7-2 win. She won 6-0, 6-1 against Whittier's Brechtje Voskuil in a 9-0 team win, while posting a 6-1, 7-6 (9-7) win against Katherine Monroy in a 6-3 win over Chapman. Her lone singles loss came in a 6-1, 6-1 defeat to Caltech's Nina Solovyeva as the Brewers lost 9-0. Duley was also 3-1 in doubles action.
