The Vassar College No. 2 doubles pair of Tatum Blalock and Macey Dowd posted a 4-1 record during action in California last week. In a 5-4 win against Cal Lutheran, they recorded the lone doubles point for the Brewers in an 8-6 win. The duo then recorded an 8-5 win as the squad beat Occidental, 7-2. Despite an 8-4 loss in a 9-0 team loss to Caltech, the pair rebounded with an 8-4 win in a 9-0 win against Whittier, followed by an 8-4 win in a 6-3 team victory against Chapman. For the week, the Brewers as a team were also 4-1, extending their record to 8-1 this season.
