Ithaca College sophomore Tia Jones earned national runner-up honors in both the 60- and 200-meter dash events at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. Jones, who was the top seed in the 60 heading into the championships, qualified for the final in sixth with a 7.66. She earned national runner-up on Saturday as she clocked a time of 7.63 seconds in a highly contested final that was separated by just .09 from first-to-eighth. Less than hour later, Jones was back on the track to run in the 200 final. Jones qualified with the second-fastest time after the prelims (24.90) and was the top seed heading into the championship. She finished second overall with a time of 24.76, just edged out by .1 by Isabella Hogue of Nebraska Wesleyan.
