In two NCAA Tournament games, RPI sophomore Avery Eugster came off the bench in one game and started one game, where he averaged 4.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in 31.2 minutes. He made all three shots he took, including a pair of three-pointers, while adding two assists and a steal. In a 78-58 win over Nichols in the first round, he had two points, eight rebounds and two assists in 26:03 off the bench. The next night as a starter at No. 8 Wesleyan, Avery scored six points with three rebounds and a steal in 36:24 of a 59-58 victory.
