St. Lawrence University freshman Carly Stine finished second in her first collegiate heptathlon, compiling 3,894 points. She won the 800-meter competition in the seventh and final event of the competition, scoring 779 points. She finished in the top four in five of the seven events with seconds in the 200 and long jump and was fourth in the 100 and high jump.
