St. Lawrence University sophomore Maggie Wenger had a strong showing at the 2022 Liberty League Swimming & Diving Championships and was recognized as Rookie of the Meet and Year for her efforts. She won two individual events (100-yard and 200-yard freestyle); placed top-five in one event (4th, 50-yard freestyle) and swam on four relays for the Saints. In the 200-yard freestyle, she cruised to victory with an NCAA B-cut time of 1:51.87. Wenger won by more than two seconds. She finished first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.32.
