Ithaca College first-year James Collishaw was named the Rookie of the Meet and Rookie of the Year following his first Liberty League Swimming & Diving Championships. He won three individual events (50-yard, 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle) and took part in four of Ithaca’s relays (winning three and taking second in one).

The 50-yard freestyle was a battle of Ithaca teammates. Sophomore James Collishaw edged defending champion and meet record-holder Stanley Zaneski with a winning time of 20.52 seconds. Zaneski, who still holds the championship record (20.48) touched the wall at 20.55. He added to his medal haul by winning the 200-yard freestyle in a meet record-tying time of 1:40.51. He matched the time of 1:40.51 set in 2018 by Dio Tzortzis. On the final day of the championship, Collishaw outdueled teammate Stanley Zaneski to win the 100-yard freestyle in a meet and association record time of 44.99. Collishaw broke Zaneski's meet record of 45.14. Zaneski (45.06) also eclipsed his previous mark. He also posted championship record times with his teammates in the 800-yard freestyle relay (6:40.99) and the 400-yard free style relay (2:59.38).
