RPI junior Luke Lyons had an individual victory and was part of a first place relay team to lead the Engineers at the West Point Tune-Up, a multi-divisional, non-team scoring meet. In the 400-meter dash, he posted a winning time of 50.52 to defeat 32 others, including the runner-up who ran a 50.74. Lyons ran a 23.76 in the first 200 and then hit 26.76 in the second for the 50.52 total. He then ran anchor in the 4x400, helping the Engineers to a win in 3:29.28, which edged Bloomfield's time of 3:30.91.
