University of Rochester junior Susan Bansbach was exceptional for Rochester over the weekend while competing at the Boston University Valentine Invitational on Friday. Bansbach currently ranks inside the top-5 in NCAA Division III in two events following the BU meet. Individually in the 400 meters, she was 6th in a field of 195 runners, running a Rochester school record of 55.70 seconds, a time which ranks #2 in NCAA Division III (56.44 conversion to flat track time). Additionally, Bansbach was on Rochester’s top 4x400 meter relay team which was the top finishing Division III program at the race, posting a time of 3:51.83 which is fourth best in Division III this year (3:54.92 conversion time). The relay time is the second best in Rochester program history and ended 9th of 47 teams at the meet.
