Ithaca College senior Logan Bruce was the top individual performer in the pentathlon on the day with a total of 3,543 across the five events. Bruce, who ranks No. 3 in the country in the event, won three of the five events – 60-meter hurdles (916), long jump (694) and 800-meter run (693). She also placed second in the high jump (724) and third in the shot put (516). In the 60 hurdles, Bruce clocked a time of 8.97 seconds, which was more than a half-second faster than the runner-up. She measured out 5.48 meters in the long jump and was the only entry to surpass that standard and won the 800 in a time of 2:29.96.
