In a dual meet win over Hamilton, RPI first-year swimmer Colleen Whittaker was victorious in all four events in which she swam, including three individual wins. Whittaker began by swimming second on the 200 medley relay team that won with a time of 1:53.38, which was two seconds ahead of the runner-up squad (1:55.67). She then won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:10.37 and the 100 butterfly in 59.55. Whittaker finished by capturing the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:15.70, which was two seconds ahead of the second place finisher (2:17.14). RPI won the meet 168-124.
