University of Rochester first-year athlete Megan Bell placed first in the 500 meters at the Nazareth Alumni Opener Friday evening, winning by nearly two full seconds in the event with her time of 1:23.24. Bell also competed on Rochester’s runner-up 4x400 meter relay team which clocked in with a time of 4:00.50, an Atlantic Regional qualifier and time which ranks third in NCAA Division III this season.
