In a 20-14 win at Endicott in the first round of the NCAA Playoffs, RPI wide receiver Vinnie McDonald led all receivers with seven receptions, 122 yards and two touchdowns. He had catches of three, 11 and 15 yards in the first quarter with the longest coming in the end zone to give RPI a 7-0 lead. He then had a 37-yard catch in the second quarter to set up the Engineers' second touchdown and a 14-0 advantage. McDonald had two receptions on RPI's first series of the second half, a 48-yarder and a five-yard touchdown for a 20-7 lead. His final reception was for three yards in the fourth quarter.
