In a 151-149 dual meet victory over Ithaca, RPI first-year swimmer Shannon Brown had three victories (two individual) and a runner-up to pace the Engineers. Brown won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:57.98, a margin of nearly four seconds (2:01.90), and the 100-yard freestyle in 54.69, which was nearly two seconds in front of the runner-up (56.49). She was second in the 50-yard freestyle (25.17-25.45) and swam the anchor on the victorious 200-yard medley relay team that finished in 1:52.01, which was :01.36 ahead of the runner-up.
