RPI first-year runner Vince Simonetti was fifth at the 2021 Liberty League Men's Cross Country Championship, crossing the finish line in a time of 25:57.0. He was the top rookie finisher of the event. The Engineers won their fifth Liberty League title in five championships, narrowly edging Vassar by two points for the team victory.
