In a season-opening tri-meet against Brockport and Buffalo State, Ithaca College first-year swimmer Ben Young won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.78. He also teamed with Joe Pezzini, James Collishaw and Matt Crysler to record a first-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:39.89.
