Ithaca College first-year swimmer Matthew Stevens took first place in 1000-yard freestyle against Brockport and Buffalo State, winning the event in just under 40 seconds over the nearest swimmer with a time of 10:14.28. Stevens also recorded a time of 4:57.05 in the 500-yard freestyle in winning that event as well.
