The University of Rochester Varsity Eight boat captured the First Varsity race at the Head of the Genesee Regatta on Saturday, defeating conference rival RIT in the two-boat race. The Yellowjackets' time of 17:54.11 was over seven seconds clear of the Tigers. Caroline Murphy, Elizabeth Martin, Riesa Cassano, Hannah Zerman, Angela Browning, Hope Havenhill, Madeleine LaChance, Taylor Brown, Jordan Winter comprised the winning boat.
