In a 41-7 win over St. John Fisher in the final regular season non-league game for both teams, RPI defensive back Francis Perry ended two of the Cardinals first three drives with interceptions. He picked off St. John Fisher's first pass of the game on its second play of the series, giving the Engineers the ball at their own 42 yard line. He then halted the Cardinals third series with an interception on their first play - and their second pass attempt of the game - to give RPI the ball at their own 32 yard line. The Engineers went on to score on the ensuing drive to take a 20-0 lead. Perry, who played sparingly in the second half due to the lopsided score, also had two assisted tackles in the win.
