Making her ITA Regionals debut, Vassar College first-year player Macey Dowd had an outstanding showing, posting a 3-1 singles record with advancement into the ITA Northeast quarterfinals. Dowd opened with a 6-3, 6-1 win against Hamilton's Lauren Holtzman, followed by a 6-0, 4-6, 11-9 victory over NYU's Karina Jensrud. In the third round, she recorded a 6-4, 7-5 win versus Rochester's Josie Libby. Dowd bowed out of the tournament in the quarterfinals, shouldering a 6-4, 6-1 loss to Skidmore's Katherine Almquist.
